House of Learning

I want to homeschool our kids. I want to be a part of their learning and learn with them.
My daughter, Kenzie, has mastered her animal sounds and we're starting her on letters, numbers, and colors.

Not to jump the gun, but I found "Homeschooling, Take a Deep Breath-You can do this!" by Terrie Lynn Bittner. She lays out life as a homeschooler in a real, organized, and doable way. It was her book that led me to organizedhome.com. Which latest post is about organizing with homeschooling.

I think children learn more at home, in a familiar environment with their family.
I don't remember a lot of what I learned in school, but it was good for me. So we'll see how each child likes homeschooling and if it is beneficial to them.
